Blood sugar: They probably did more than a cbc.  You should ask your doctors how high was the sugar.  Was it done fasting?  When fasting, glucose should be.

i had a cbc w/plat automated diff & comprehensive metabolic panel done. my glucose level came back 114! is this pre-diabetes? i took my normal meds, had coffee and non-dairy creamer only. note: this was not fasting blood glucose test?

No: Plasma glucose levels and hemoglobin a1c measurements are the two tests usually used for diagnosing diabetes. Unless there are complications, most patients with diabetes have normal cbc.

anxiety. worried about diabetes insipidus. one day i will pee a lot and the next its normal. never wake up to pee. pee is usually pale yellow and transparent. all recent labs normal (cbc,sodium,potassium,ast,alt, src/efgr,a1c) all normal. possible?

: Not sure why you are concerned about this uncommon disorder. If DI is present, polyuria (more than 3 liters a day) is persistent day after day.  So your voiding pattern is not consistent with DI. Blood test can still be normal in DI if your fluid intake can make up for the fluid loss. Good luck.

Many possibilities: Some causes of swelling can include systemic problems such as hypertension, and problems with the kidneys and localized issues such as arthritis, infection, lymphatic obstruction, blood clots, varicose veins, trauma (fracture, sprain, tendonitis) and side effects to medication.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

unexplained weight loss, ct scan of abdomen, cbc, cmp, lipase, amylase and upper endoscopy, nothing..i am prediabetic, could this be type 1 diabetes?

Depends: This depends on many more findings.  Fasting blood glucose levels and more history is needed to make that diagnosis.  You should bring up that possibility with your doctor and investigate that possibility to get under control. The sooner the better

No: Not really. It can show signs of inflammation or infection and anemia. Unless you get some infection from your partner, it should not show that you had sex.

Accepted Answer

Yes: It would depend on the state of histoplasma infection. May people have asymptomatic infection with this organism.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

how much time does it take for cbc test to come back?

Accepted Answer

Varies.: Depends on the machine being used to process the laboratory result.  Some older machines can take up to 1 hour, some machines take about 5 minutes after the sample has been put in.  The getting the results, printing them out, or faxing them could take forever.  But that's a human that's responsible for that process.  :)
