Not long: See my previous answer.  Usually a day or so unless there were complications.  If longer than a couple of day, i would call the doctor and discuss.  There could be bleeding at the site with a hematoma or potentially an infection.  A bruise is to be expected and can cause some soreness.

Depends: If your receive conscious sedation, you will not have noticeable pain during the procedure.  Afterward, you may have pain for a day or so unless there is an untoward complication.  I had one and it hurt minimally for 24 hours.  I had conscious sedation.

Yes and no: Any biopsy will be painful but in the hands of an experienced doctor and proper sedation (local novocaine) it can be a much more tolerable process. Pain killers such as tylenol (acetaminophen) afterwards for 24-58 hours can be a help too.

Generally, 5-15 cc's of marrow is removed during a bone marrow aspiration and then a 2-3 cm small piece of the bone marrow is removed for the biopsy.
