Vitamin C Flush: Try a vitamin c flush 500mg 3x/day and add another cap/tab to each daily until you have satisfactory bm.  Take a retention fleets enema each morning by inserting and laying on your left side for thirty minutes before expelling it.  This will liquefy stool and make it easier to move. Engage bowel training (sit on commode for 20-30 min after each meal till you find the once daily time you can go.

Color normal: Stool color is made by the bile from your liver.The color range goes from dark green through the yellows and browns based on how the bile is changed in transit. The color you describe is well within the range of normal. The increased frequency of stooling may reflect some difficulty digesting his feed.

: In order to diagnose worms, you need to have a stool sample analyzed at a lab for ova and parasites. Any worms, or parasites, can then be identified and treatment given, depending on the parasite, if any, identified. If no parasite is identified, an alternate diagnosis needs to be made. You should see a GI doctor for an evaluation, including the stool sample analysis. Good luck!

Please : Please return to your doctor for another evaluation.  You may need an anoscopy or colonoscopy (types of scope tests) to check your bowel.  If you have continued bleeding, pain, or feel light-headed/faint, then you will need to go to the er.

No question here...: Just a statement... and with no details. In general, if there is pain, there is a problem. A pain problem can be due to tissue irritation or damage, or due to the nerves that transmit or perceive pain signals, or both. A patient whose pain persists can see the same doctor for more evaluation. A primary care doctor can start, and may refer to a gastroenterologist, a proctologist, etc...

Pruritus ani: This is almost always due to fecal soiling. Whenever it feels wet or irritated, go in the toilet and clean off with bathroom paper. This is much more effective if lotion is on the paper. Aveeno, (oatmeal) Eucerin, or any lubricating lotion will do. Clean inside the anal canal. After a bowel movement do the same thing. After a wet fart clean with lotion. Avoid harsh scrubbing. Do not use much soap there.

hi.  i have a embarrasing problem dont feel comfortable going to the doctors , i have a boil near my anus , sometimes its painfull sometimes its not. can i treat this at home? its like a little lump.

Boil: Would recommend that you not do this. Usually due to a bacteria called Staph aureus, and if improperly treated can become quite serious and spread to other areas. Doctors look at areas like this all the time and there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Good luck and hope this helps.

Irritation...: from the diarrhea &amp; the repeated wiping can cause a sore or a fissure (a break in the skin) and, just like any skin injury, it can bleed.  That said, if the bleeding doesn't go away soon, if the diarrhea recurs, or if you have dark stools, please see a doctor.  There are many possible causes of rectal bleeding, some serious, some not, but a doctor needs to evaluate this.  Helpful?
