Tubal Ligation: Tying your tubes in no way changes your hormonal cycles.  You will still be ovulating and having monthly periods.

Spotting w/Ovulation: Some women spot with ovulation . It does not matter if you had a tubal ligation. The hormonal change can trigger this. You may also have something else going on, so see a provider and check this out!

Egg travels: What a great question? The ovary is located near the fallopian tube. The fallopian tube at the end has fimbria that looks like multiple fingers that catches the egg following ovulation.  When there is  a salpingectomy, no tube and no fimbria so presumably the egg falls inside the cavity of your belly. Salpingectomy is a surgical procedure for permanent contraception and prevention of cancer.

Spotting cervix.: Infection of the cervix or hormonal problem or trauma to the cercvix is probably the cause more . Ovulation rarely cause a spot or two spot of bleeding and even do not exist according to some doctors. See your gyn.

Ovulation still happ: A tubal ligation does not stop a woman from having a menstrual cycle. A woman continues to ovulate and the uterus continues to respond to hormonal changes. A tubal ligation does not stop that from happening.

: If tubes have been cut, with a segment removed &amp; then tied there is no channel for an egg to go be fertilized. There would also be no channel for the sperm to get through to find one. In the early days of tubals there were rare episodes where they reconnected and pregnancy did occur, but the methods changed to make that unlikely. Yet in medicine we are taught to never say never.

Yes: Even if tubal ligation reversal is successful, it doesn't guarantee that you can become pregnant. Pregnancy rates following reversal of tubal ligation vary greatly, from 30 to 85 percent, depending on a woman's age and other factors.

i've had my tubes tied for 10 years and i had my cycle april 1st and it is may 4 th and still no cycle.

Doubt pregnancy.: Missed cycle.  Happens some times.  Not related to your tubes being tied.  Very low risk of pregnancy.  If you are really concerned about it you can check a HPT.
