Get tested: Please get a nucleic acid test for HIV, even if it is for your peace of mind.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.  Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless.
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Constipation blood: Constipation and trying to force your stools by pushing can sometime call abrasion in the anus and that will cause the bleeding when you go and strain again, sometimes internal hemorroids will bleed when you are constipated.If your stools are normal now that might be a reason why it stopped.Since you did have blood in the stool, it is a good idea to see a GI specialist and have colonoscopy done aswe.
