Covered is best: The real question is what not to do that slows down healing. Avoid using alcohol, peroxide, hibiclens, betadine, and bleach solutions. Inflammation ( red, hot, swollen, tender) is important to healing  so anti-inflammatories (motrin, advil) are bad. Cover the area with a clean dressing changed every other day  and protected from trauma.  Antibiotics do not help healing unless it is truly infected.

i cut my foot with a razor blade i just skinned my foot it was bleeding for a good while i have a bandaid on it how long will it take to heal thanks ?

Depends: on depth and size of cut. Also presence of infection, circulation, over all health and nutrition are also factors. Those with diabetes may tend to take longer.

cut my finger half an inch deep. much blood, cant afford stitches. sprayed liquid bandaid on it, cant wash  because excrutiating. will it heal and how long???

Finger cut: A hand cut 1/2 deep is pretty substantial, especially if it was on the fingers. You could have damaged a nerve, vessels, or tendons. Though, you state you can't afford an ER visit, I would suggest you still go. Especially if you have any numbness of the fingers or lack full range of motion of all your digits and joints. A "paper cut" or superficial cut can be glued, but can lead to infection.

i have a pimple in the corner of my lips and can't stop peeling off the skin. what can i do to help it heal faster and can i cover it with a bandaid?

You can: apply small amounts of honey to the lesion several times a day.   It does not require a bandaid but if it is the only thing that will help you to stop picking at it - than a Bandaid may be a deterrent.

i nicked myself with some scissors right between the flaps where penis and scrotum meet. the cut has gone a variety of colors in the red-white area. i wiped it with ehtyl and put a bandaid on it. should i keep activity low and how quick will it heal?

: It will heal exactly the same as a cut anywhere on your body. Just keep the area clean and dry. Not sure what you mean by "activity" (sex?). But it doesn't matter; no health risk.

Band aids: I don't think there's enough evidence to say that bandaids slow the healing of cuts or abrasions, but it's pretty obvious that many cuts do just as well without them.  They're probably not necessary for the majority of cuts out there- except for cosmetic purposes.  Proper wound care and dressing is important to healing, but your standard adhesive bandaid might probably not be part of that regimen.

i cant stop pulling on my hangnails. i assume its a mental thing but it can get bad. i dont do it on purpose but i do it anyways and some of them have taken forever to heal and i have to wear bandaids pretty much 24/7?

: Buy a nail clipper and mentally  commit to cutting these hangnails, but never pulling them. Start a program of sleeping in cotton gloves after using coconut oil or a lubricating lotion on your hands, and the hangnails should resolve in their own. Good luck

i have cut a mole while i was shaving and it bled for awhile i have put a bandaid and neosporn on it since the incident. what will happen to my mole?

It'll heal: You should be fine. This is very unlikely to turn it into cancer. You're young, probably just starting to shave, and this is one mole you may want to have off. Ask your physician.

i cut my hand on my vein and it finally stopped. can i just put on a bandaid?

Cut on a Vein: Yes as long as there is no bleeding you can just use the bandaid.
