Depends: The treatment itself (suppository or cream) will come out once it melts and this will feel like a discharge.

If you have completed the treatment for a day or two and there seems to be more discharge, it could mean another infection, especially if there is a different odor or more itching.  If so, see your clinician again.

Possibly: The discomfort and discharge suggest ongoing or recurrent yeast vaginitis. Try another course of antiyeast cream and abstain from vaginal intercourse until all symptoms have cleared. Bear in mind that your sex partner can transmit a yeast infection also.

Yes: It takes several days sometimes for the infection to be treated completely. Whether the treatment is oral or vaginal would determine how long your discharge lasts. Check with your hcp if you are not compl;etely better after being treated.
