Pregnancy?: Since you had unprotected sex, have an odd period and were due for a Depo-Provera shot in march, you might be pregnant. Check a home pregnancy test to be sure.  If negative have your gyn check you out.

Depo and voice: Probably not very likely.  You may have reflux which is probably why you voice is lower.  Try some Zantac (ranitidine) over the counter. Good luck.

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

i got the depo-provera shot yesterday, my arm is realy sore and burnng at injection site also a hard lump under the skin around injection site. is this normal?

Yes: Sorry that happened.  The symptoms you are describing though are normal.  It's possible that a small blood vessel broke under the skin, or that your muscle is just cramping up around the area where the shot occurred.  A little bit of time and it will be gone. In the meantime, for the pain, try some ibuprofen, 600mg.

Depo injection: This can happen.  The Depo-Provera will work as long as it is administered into a muscle, so upper arm vs deltoid vs buttocks are all acceptable locations for administration.
