Very Low: Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) continues to be effective up to 14 weeks from your last injection.  Its always best to get your injections on time but if you are 4 days late, you are still covered.  Best wishes!

Pretty Good: No birth control is perfect. "Pulling out" is not a reliable way to prevent pregnancy. Try an early pregnancy test from the drugstore. If negative, wait a week and repeat the test. If positive, see your OBGyn. If it turns out you're not pregnant then something else is going on. Check it  out. Buy your boyfriend a box of condoms. Tell him "No glove - no love."

Extremely low: May i assume you mean depo-provera? Chance of pregnancy (failure) is around 1/200, chance of ectopic is significantly lower.

Plan B: Plan B is NOT a primary contraceptive, and anytime you are having unprotected intercourse you can get pregnant.  Your pregnancy chances depend upon when the sexual episode occurred and how long after the Plan B was taken.

Contraceptives: If you had sex after the DepoProvera shot was due, then you are at risk for pregnancy.  For your peace of mind, please have your injection as scheduled four times a year unless you are trying to become pregnant.  Best wishes.

Nothing impossible: But it's rare to get pregnant once your on depo-provera. Nothing is 100% effective but this works really well taken every 11-14 weeks without fail. Good luck.

Low probability: Depo hangs in there for a long time. There is the chance that by interrupting your injection rhythm of every-3-month shots, you could have ovulated; but I highly doubt it. The opposite is also true - you may want to get pregnant &amp; stop Depo, but not ovulate for 9 months! Take a pregnancy test to make sure, and restart Depo shots.

Stop depo provera (medroxyprogesterone): It can take up to 6 months or even more after the last Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) injection to have regular periods again. If you are having regular periods you could use an ovulation predictor to see when you are fertile. If it's over 6 months and no regular periods see your doctor.
