Average: Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) provides 90 days of protection from pregnancy.  After this time elapses, your chances of pregnancy will be the same as for any other fertile woman, and a prior abortion typically does not affect pregnancy chances.  One episode of unprotected sex during a fertile time in your cycle on average comes with an 8% chance of pregnancy.   To avoid pregnancy, use another method of protection.

Sounds like infected: Yellow discharge is highly suggestive of pelvic infection and needs to be checked out urgently.  Also, having sex before the depo and not using protection is high risk behavior.  You just had an abortion, it is time to start thinking about healthy choices for yourself.

Depo : Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) only lasts 3 months, so the contraceptive effect is gone. If your periods are not regular yet, your body may need more time to adjust or something else is going on. You may still be ovulating and able to get pregnant before you start having regular periods. Yes: Depo can make you bleed for several months.  Patience is required.  If you had stopped bleeding after your abortion and were ok at your 3 week check up you should be fine.
