i'm having oral terbinafine. now, i'm advised not to go outside during daytime. because terbinafine makes skin more sensitive to sun. if i stop taking this medication today, will i be able to go outside during daytime tomorrow?i've already stopped it?

: Terbinafine can take up to a week to be totally removed from the system. Since it is a lipophilic medication, it may remain in some fat cells for longer. Make sure you wear long sleeve, covering clothes and sunscreen for at least several weeks.

: The heart rate normally has some variability so having a heart rate slightly higher at different times of the day is normal. The heart rates you mention are likely normal for you. Good luck!

Not really: The only stimulant medicines you'll find over the counter are caffeine containing.  There are some herbal supplements that also employ certain herbal remedies, but often also have a lot of sugar in them.  There are a lot of important (and reversible) reasons for your symptoms that a doctor in their clinic can figure out for you.

i take a variety of medications and have day time sleepiness, even with cpap compliance and good ahi values.  how can i prevent daytime sleepiness?

Probably change: your combination of medications.. They are whats making you sleepy, not the CPAP.

i suffer from insomnia & have taken medication in past such as zolpidem, lorazepam etc , they always helped me & i always woke up straight in morning but even then i never felt freshness. laziness & daytime sleepiness remains, why?? no other issues?

: Best way to solve this is to do a sleep study. Also read about healthy sleeping habits at uptodate.com and try their interventions.  Will cost some money but how much is sleeping better worth to you. Up  to you.

Approaching: depression wi multiple modalities is best. There are many
things you can do for depression.  Don't isolate. Spend time w people. Use your support system. Get out. Don’t stagnate at home. Work to get 8 hours or &gt; of sleep per night &amp; eat healthfully. Daily aerobic physical activity is a big +.  Recommend the “Feeling Good Book" by Dr. David Burns. Don't just read it - DO IT!

what are the effects of overdosing on diabetes medication?

Depends on which med: The effects of an overdose depend on which medication and how much. Insulins, glimeperide, glyburide, Glipizide and those containing these medications can lower sugar below usual, most likely for a short periods of time. 

An overdose of others such as metformin, actos/avandia, januvia/tradjenta/onglyza are less likely to cause this problem.

what are the effects of smoking weed while on medications?

Variable: Weed itself varies. What you got before may be different from now. Also, individuals have varying sensitivities.  But there may be  a synergistic effect of intoxication: they get too strong. But there is also the metabolism: weed has some metabolic pathways that may be the same as your meds, thereby making weed and your meds either weaker or stronger. Unpredictable, and therefore unwise.
