A plastic surgeon or dermatologist may be able to help you depending on the location and severity of the "striae".

No: They don't work at all. I really wish they did, believe me! they will fade with time. There are also laser treatments that can help but these are quite expensive. And there's no point now because if you plan to have more children, you might get new stretch marks. These are your marks of pride, and you should be proud of being a mom and having a healthy pregnancy. Good luck!

Shea butter: is primarily used to keep the skin most, especially in dry winter weather.  It has no long lasting impact on skin color as far as I know.  Peace and good health. Vitamin E oil on scars can be helpful.
