Normal: What you described is a normal variation on the color of areola. You need not be concerned about it. 
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Blue rings: areolae: Pigment changes during puberty are common, and some of the brown color of the nipples on breasts can appear darker as breast growth emerges. Have your daughter see a woman gyn physician if there is concern.

Hard to tell: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after a "weird" period. An Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms.

Hormonal imbalance: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

Areola: If both breasts areola the same, probably just increased pigmentation. If it is asymmetrical, see your doctor.

?Hormones: Some of the drugs can cause this change especially female hormones like estrogen excess.
You are taking too many pills...perhaps your doctor can help you cut down on some of them.
