Depends...: ...On what is causing the hair loss.  Most kinds of alopecia are cosmetic issues only.  It can, however, be caused by internal problems or medications.  If you suspect that your alopecia is in that category, you should see your doctor.  I know of no convincing evidence that zinc tablets have any effect, on way or the other.

Zinc and Iron: Zinc and manganese may interfere with iron absorption because of similar physicochemical properties and shared absorptive pathways.

embarrassing, but what could cause blue green feces? i do not feel sick at all. could a sudden intake of more iron and zinc cause this?

Blue/green stool: Blue food coloring is a popular food additive, and when ingested in large quantities can make stools appear blue. Blue is not a pigment typically produced by the human GI tract.  Blue is however the color of ingestable "indicator" dyes &amp; that a hemoccult card will turn if blood is detected in stool (or it taking a lot of iron, as in your case)--is this to what you are referring?

if i'm taking 50mg of zinc gluconate which is equal to 7mg of elemental zinc, is that okay? is recommended dietary intake in elemental zinc?

For what  indication: I am not sure what are you taking zinc for but you have to bear in mind that zinc can potentially bind copper in the stomach and decrease copper absorption which results in anemia.

No: No but it can make you sick.

my wife has covid19 , is at home on day 7. she is very weak and sleeps a lot. no breathing issues currently.  she hardly eats anything. vit c, vit d3  ecotrin, zinc currently using. i am worried sbout fluid intake?

Fluid intake Covid19: She needs to take in enough fluid to at least have 3 bouts of urination in 24 hours. This is where you can be helpful to her during the illness. Take her small amounts of things to drink frequently , encourage her to suck on a popsicle. Be her caretaker while she fights off the illness and quarantines herself.

i have noticed a mucus like substance in my urine.  it was white in colour.  no smell.  no burning.

i have recently increased my intake of zinc and multivitamins.  i am also on a course of cortisone to treat some sinus issues.

i am type 2 diabetic?

Discharge: Cloudy urine can be a sign of UTI. Mucous discharge can be from vaginal secretions as well. Watch your symptoms and see a physician if concerns persist. Keep an eye on your blood glucose levels as steroids can raise it. Take care.
