i have bp, on chronic medication. lomanor & losaar plus.
can i drink lemon, ginger & garlic with water?

May lower BP too muc: High amounts of Garlic plus Lemon may lower blood pressure. Since you are being treated for High blood pressure with a medication which already reduces your blood pressure, adding something else that lowers your blood pressure may cause you to faint, be dizzy or lethargic. A small amount such as once cup a day may be OK, try a small amount to see how you respond, before adding this daily.

: There is no evidence that garlic effects BP.  We used to say it may help because it kept away people who increased your BP.  But that was Dr. humor.

age 57: im taking clavix 75 mg & arvast 40 mg. can blood thinners help with shortness of breath ? and can you take cinnamon , ginger, garlic with blood thinners as well ? what should i avoid taking during medication?

: Although you're taking an antiplatelet agent in Clavix, I don't regard it as effective against venous blood clots that travel to the lungs &amp; cause chest pain &amp; shortness of breath. Antiplaletets are more effective against clots in arteriolar vessels. As a general rule I don't think anyone taking true anticoagulants like warfarin or the novel anticoagulants should take supplements due to interactio

Depends on condition: Valproate is used to treat Bipolar disease, but also Epilepsy and Migraines. If your son has been diagnosed with Bipolar or Epilepsy, then a consultation ASAP with his prescribing physician/counselor is necessary to find the reason for his noncompliance. If taking for migraines, the situation is not as dire and time can be spent determining if another treatment is better for him.

LongPromoted?Benefit: Garlic & other "natural" [simply meaning “from nature” (nootheroptionsexist), despite harvested, processed & packaged] agents long promoted (sales) as beneficial. I have never seen any organized human trials which demonstrate this to be true & for those clients who come taking garlic, etc. (many of whom stop after seeing their response to better options) & i've  never seen benefits or loss of any.
