Don't think so: Not aware of any viruses that fit those symptoms, but if you haven't been able to drink or eat due to a stomach bug, that may explain the dizziness.

Many!: There are well over 500 viruses that children can get.  Currently, we have seen much gastroenteritis caused by norovirus; still some cases of flu; some gastro caused by rotovirus (we have a good oral vaccine for that).  We are beginning to see coxsackie virus -- causes sosres in the mouth, fever.  Common cold viruses include rhinoviruses as well.  No specific treatment- rest, hydration and time!

Is it a cold or : is it allergies if symptoms are recurrent.  For viral respiratory infection- rest, hydrate, quarantine &amp; eat healthfully. Consider use of acetaminophen, saline for nasal irrigation, decongestant or cough syrup.

No: If the viral infection is causing meningitis and headache then headache persists until infection clears.

No: RSV is one of many "cold" viruses that accounts for a majority of URI's in season. Once a kid develops that infection &amp; their body heals, they are immune for at least that season though the immunity will eventually fade. You don't pass RSV back &amp; forth like a strep throat. They could get another "cold" this season but from a different virus.

The first recognized Ebola outbreak was in 1976.  Some individuals who became infected by Ebola in Africa traveled to the US  - there by leading to US cases.
