Use screens on your windows.  If necessary for your situation use mosquito netting.  Careful of using too much repellant as frequent use can be toxic,  mosquitos are attracted to co2 and you can buy mosquito killer device.

Possible: One could be allergic to mosquitos but is one does not have any symptoms of allergic reaction after a bite then clinically one is not allergic.

Yes: Insect repellents that contain deet (n, n-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide) preferably 20-50% or picardin on all exposed skin are very effective mosquito repellents.  Permethrin treated clothing is also very effective.

Why not?: Mosquitoes are attracted to the co2 that we exhale.  While i don't have scientific data to support this, I have 50 years of experience with mosquitoes and I do believe that they are attracted to some people more than others.  You can improve your chances of not being their favorite by wearing light long sleeves and pants, hat, avoid outdoors at dawn/dusk, and wear repellant as directed.

Stay indoors: The best way to avoid mosquitoes is to avoid where/when they are active. Stay indoors during dusk and dawn, wear long sleeves and pants, hat, and use insect repellant.  Eliminate any stagnant or  standing water around your house to  minimize their chance to breed.
