Anything: Headaches can come from fatigue, sleeping too much or too little, eye strain, sleep apnea, snoring, being dehydrated, having chronic sinusitis or allergies, too much caffeine or over the counter headache medication, high blood pressure or something more serious like a tumor. See your doctor and get checked.

i like to "crack" my ears by pulling on my lobes. is this bad? what causes the "cracking"?

It's ok: You are changing the pressure in the ear canal. Just like shifting your jaw forward with your mouth open and sliding it side to side.

Dermatologist: This crease behind your ear is a classical site for seborrheic keratitis.  This a skin condition which can be treated with careful cleansing of the skin followed by a small amount of topical cortisone.  If these measures do not help, i would advise seeing a dermatologist.

Bacterial infection: These locations are typical for staph aureus colonization.  Another common location is the insides of the nostrils.  Try applying an otc topical antibiotic several times daily for at least a week.  Swimming in chlorinated water, or making your own "swimming pool" by adding a half cup of household bleach to a bathtub of warm water and soaking for 15 to 20 minutes every day can help as well.

ear piercing infection. now oozing dark green gunk/crust. normal...? piercing done on 10/03 took out 6 weeks later to clean & change to new earrings.

Not normal: I recommend treating this inflammation/infection by warm water applications, wash with soap, pat dry and apply an antibiotic ointment like Neosporin or bacitracin. There may be an element of an allergic reaction to the earring.

ear pain
 drainage of fluid from the ear
 diminished hearing
 sore throat
go and have it treated.

Depends: One could develop an abscess of the lobe of the ear.  There is a dictum "all pus must pass".  In this case an abscess would either resorb or would fester and burst.  A severe infection could cause necrosis and loss of tissue and deformity.  Infection, anywhere, should be taken seriously.  Clean the area with soap & water, dry it and apply antibiotic ointment.  Keep fingers away.  See pcp if worse.

my daughter has dry cracked skin behind her ears. it hurts her when i pull lightly or wash them in the tub. what can be done to help?

Dry skin ears: Try emollient cream (moisturizing) during day & petroleum jelly at night. If that helps but needs more, mix in small dab of Cortaid (hydrocortisone) but use very sparingly. If still not improved, see pediatrician.

Tinnitus: Unless your doctor can hear the noise with stethoscope, your noise is subjective tinnitus and so far there is no successful treatment. If you doctor can hear it then you need more extensive imaging like cerebral angiography or mr angioraphy.
