No, Warfarin current: use will not have any effect on a pregnancy expected in 5 years, but Warfarin during pregnancy has been associated with some birth defects and is contraindicted during first trimester and near term due to potential for bleeding.  Heparin does not cross the placenta and could be used if anticoagulant is still indicated at that time.  Until then, use birth control. Best wishes.

A better, more specific idea is a failure of a tissue or structure to form properly in fetal development.(cleft palate). A "disruption" can create a bd -loss of fingers to amnionic bands. Chromasome defects lead to several bd's like heart defects.

Depends on definitn: Most accept the definition of bds as anatomical abnormalities, large or small, obvious or not that are present at birth.Some might include  gene derived anomalies like extra fingers or metabolic issues like cystic fibrosis. Numbers for individual defects are easier to come by than inclusive numbers for this reason. (ie.Cleft lip, down syndrome)  i've seen inclusive estimates from 3-6% for all bd's.

Varies: That varies tremendously.  Some are minor and don't need fixing.  Some are very severe and can't be fixed at all.  Many are in between;   they might not be completely fixable, but the right doctor might be able to make the problem considerably better.

Controversial: But the overall tide of opinion is that the answer is "no." there was laboratory evidence that lsd could cause damage to germ cells - sperm and eggs - even long after it's ingestion.  However, studies of this have not yielded consistent results. There are no human studies, and the vast majority of lsd users (esp in pregnancy) use other substances as well. Avoiding any drugs in pregnancy is best.
