Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

To have paint in your ears with your symptoms - it suggests that you may have taken in a fair amount. Fumes: The amount of exposure is very important - if you think was severe the. Go to er now.  If was awhile ago and want much and was ventilated and baby and everyone else exposed is fine then there isn't anything can be done and probably going to be ok anyway.

Immediate: suffocation is possible,if the concentration is high enough.Intoxication is likely.Repeated exposure can cause permanent damage.If you survived this exposure,you are going to be ok.Just avoid this scenario in the future by taking proper precautions &amp; by better ventilation and wearing proper equipment.

Nerves: It's almost surely nerves because 20 minutes is very brief unless you were spray painting chlorine gas :(

Alternatively, the fumes could have caused bronchospasm/asthma. If you're wheezing, you should seek attention since there are excellent immediate treatments available. I'm sure you did no lasting harm with such a brief exposure.
