But if it is part of a larger problem of self confidence that is getting in the way of pursuing your goals and/or your social relationships then it would be good for you to consult with a Clinical Psychologist for help. Allergic dermatitis: Random might as well be the term for it; we tend to use the term idiopathic. Though we understand what process is involved, we don't know why certain people develop allergy to products applied on the skin. Cosmetic allergy is very common, and occurs sometimes after years of use. Patch testing can help identify the specific ingredient causing the allergy. Seek out a board certified allergist.

No: If the wounds are open then do not apply make-up over or near the wounds. This can aggravate the wounds and potentially impair the healing process.

Unclear &amp; largely: unknown. There are too many variables. While damage is more likely, they may be also some protective effects. Yet who is going to do and pay for the fantastic complexity involved in doing prospective, double-blinded, placebo-controlled trials on a large enough group of individuals over many, many years to find out?

Look at label.: The MAC website says nothing, either way. All non-comedogenic makeup products will say "non-comedogenic" somewhere on the label, or in the package insert. As a general rule, powders and thin lotions or suspensions are non-comedogenic.

Wait at least 3 days: Let the antibiotic elliminate the bacteria from the surface of the eye  this usually takes about 3 days.

Skin care: Make up is fine. As long as what you are wearing is not bothering your skin. Just remember to remove it all, at the end of the day. There are special make up removing products, or just a mild soap. A good moisturizer after, is also a good idea.

MAKEUP AND VITILIGO: VITILIGO IS A PATCHY DISCOLORATION OF THE SKIN.
IT IS THOUGHT TO BE AN AUTOIMMUNE DISORDER.
THE LATE MICHAEL JACKSON HAD AN EXTREME CASE OF IT.
AS FAR AS I KNOW, NO MAKEUP CAN CAUSE VITILIGO.

Be careful: Permanent makeup can be very challenging to remove without causing problems.  Please note that older permanent make-up can become dark if treated with a laser.
