Side effect : The implants can give irregular bleeding. Did you recently get it swapped out? Call your doctor who placed it. Sometimes taking a regular birth control pill for one pack is all you need to make the bleeding go away. Talk to your doc.

Patience: I presume you are referring to the implanon.  This device is a progestin only contraceptive which carries about a 70% to 80% risk of daily spotting and bleeding that may last for up to 6 or 8 months.  There is no effective long term treatment for the bleeding, be patient and it will probably quit eventually.

10-11 days ,no: There may be a 2 to 3 day "period", but this is excessive and not normal. Have it checked out by your md.

3 years: Nexplanon implant is highly effective for 3 years. It would be extremely unlikely for it to break. Even the most reliable contraceptive methods are only about 99.5% effective.

Minimal: They are removed through a small skin incision so there is obviously some discomfort and soreness.  Normal cycles may not resume for 2 to 3 months.

Irregular bleeding: You may experience some irregular bleeding. Ovulation resumes pretty quickly after removing the implant, so if you are not wanting pregnancy, you should consider birth control. If you are wanting pregnancy, wait until you have two normal periods before you start trying, to make sure you have a healthy uterine lining for implantation.
