Maybe: Has the blood on the stool and the constipation been going on since the last 8 months? or did it start more recently? If it only started more recently, have you passed a large, hard, constipated stool? This can stretch the anal mucosa and cause tears or fissures than can bleed and be painful. Do you try to not have bowel movements due to the pain? This can worsen the constipation and bleeding.

No: Toxic is not something we see in blood tests. It is the physiologic status of a patient, strictly speaking from a cardiovascular standpoint. 

Toxic is code word for impending cardiovascular collapse.
