Small blister : The classic look of herpes in a baby is a small blister with clear fluid inside. There can be many blisters or just one. Babies can get them anywhere on their skin or in the mouth. It can be passed to the baby from someone who has a cold sore. It can also be passed to a baby from a mother at birth. Herpes in an infant is very serious, so please get your baby checked if your baby might have it.

Symptoms of a yeast infection may include: burning, redness ; itching of the vulva; burning with urination ; vaginal intercourse ; a clumpy, white, vaginal discharge with no odor. Sometimes the discharge isn’t apparent.  See your doctor/ gynecologist for definitive diagnosis.

Probably not herpes: Initial herpes outbreaks typically occur where the virus is massaged into the tissues, i.e. sites of maximum friction during sex. That probably doesn't include your buttock, which would not be the site of first herpes symptoms. Consider visiting the nearby Melbourne Sexual Health Centre. Tongue lesions?: What type of 'dr' prescribed the medication? How long has it been since he stopped the medication? You can either follow through by having your dad return to the doctor who prescribed the medication for a follow up visit, or.......Have him seen by a general dentist or oral surgeon (or ENT specialist) for a diagnosis and treatment as\if necessary.
