Yes: Yes, ok to use to reduce discomfort and swelling but not usually necessary-a standard dressing should be adequate.seek immediate medical attention for any discoloration,pain or swelling after an  invasive angiogram

i have been getting pin prick sensations in my thighs when the temperature drops to even a little cold what could this be?

Reflex: I would consider this a reflexive reaction to a drop in body temperature similar to goose bumps and/or an irritability of the superficial nerves of the thighs also on cold exposure.I don't think this reaction is indicative of any neurological pathology.

hands feels like being pricked with needle in random places. itchy even with lotion & not purple/blue. nailbeds are pink and not cold to touch. help?

39 years old...hmmmm: I suspect you might be developing an allergic reaction, or you could be developing a peripheral neuropathy. Are you anxious? Anxiety can cause strange things like this.

pregablin. felt high, fidgety, didn't sleep well woke up freezing cold in the core but with hot prickly skin. next day feel fluey & skin shingle pain?

See your doctor: Pregabalin can cause you to feel dizzy or sleepy. It may cause other side effects and can also interfere with many medications. If it becomes necessary for the treatment to stop, your doctor will ask you to reduce your dose over a period of at least a week.

Stop the torture: This used to be done about 40 years ago.   No more puncture.  Get a ct sinus to find out what the problem is. Then make sure your nasal mucosa is not swollen.  See an allergist to find out what the trigger is and whether you have an immune defect. You may also try irrigating the sinuses with saline on a daily basis. 
Doxycycline is not the drug of choice.  Need new doctor.

On the other hand, one could argue, &quot;how can you conclude a person has a cold when they haven&#x27;t divulged any of their symptoms!&quot;  so, help us by providing a few details.

Rest and fluids: The more rest and fluids you can get will help you get over this more quickly.  Try some nasal saline spray as well to help relieve some of your symptoms.
