Use logic: I am going to assume that the eye underneath is untouched and sees well - so the only problem is the skin around the eye.  The usual rule for a contusion like this is to apply cold for 2-3 days which staunches bleeding and minimizes swelling.  After that heat will accelerate the healing and absorption of what blood has leaked into the tissues.  Hot and then cold repeatedly is not logical.

why am i afraid of people i don't know? any time i meet anyone (especially if they are taller than me) , i can't speak, i can't look them in the eye, i even start to feel cold. i have to use self checkouts, because i'm afraid to talk to the cashier?

Eyes: This can be allergic reaction or part of the cold (upper respiratory infection). If there is no pus discharge, yellow or green coming from the eye, it is ok to use warm compresses for a cold or cool compresses for an allergy itchy situation.
