Pain in Legs when co: Pain in legs when you are cold may bedue to ciculation problem.You did not mention how old you are, amd if you smoke, have diabetes or any other medical condition.The other cause may be neurulogical from parasympathetic/sympathetic nerves system.You need to be evaluated to find the cause and treat it.

Get it worked up: Don't simply conclude you are B12 deficient, or for that matter self-diagnose with "pop" or semi-informed claims. Most disease isn't nutritional. Cold sensations are less likely to be due to neuropathies than to vascular problems, but both need to be considered. If it's interfering with sleep and warm blankets don't help, make an appointment to be seen. If neglected, worse things may well happen.

Cramps?: Muscle cramps from cold exposure can happen and if its severe enough can cause residual pain.  Certain meds can cause pain like cholesterol meds.  Blood clots can  cause pain also. Make sure your md knows.

The Temperature: problem may in fact be due to too little estrogent! There are a number of treatments for this problem. Check with your Primary Care Provider/  The headache and backache
may be related to your mattress/pillow!  Try sleeping without yor pillow and if your mattress is over 10 years old consider buying a new one!

See neurologist: Feeling of cold, heat or numbness in any part of the body is indicative of nerve damage . Please see your pcp or a neurologist for thorough examination and some blood tests.

Diet or drugs?: Medications can increase risks of leg cramps as can nutritional deficiencies. If you are taking medicines or have an unusual diet talk to your doctor about testing for low potassium or magnesium levels or anemia. You can try tonic water or mineral supplements. If one leg is swelling and cramping more that the other or is much colder, do not ignore that... It could be a sign of a clot (dvt).

Go with the flow.: You need to start by having a thorough lower extremity vascular examination. Assessing the blood flow to the legs is critical to determine the seriousness of your condition. There could be other reasons, but first things first.

RLS: You may have restless leg syndrome which is difficult to treat as the meds can help the condition with significant side effects like compulsion or dependency.
