Plan. : Keep them warm!! Especially at cold weather!! If it happens at warm condition you need to see a doctor and some tests. The reason for this is the spasm of your small vessels on the extremities.

Polycythemia: Elevated HGB and hct are called polycythemia.  This can be caused by any condition that causes low oxygen levels in the blood such as heart or lung disease, or it may be caused by bone marrow problems.  In any event, with your bluish fingers and toes pointing to low oxygen, you should see a doctor about this.

No, but possible --: Due to these reasons:
1: with tight splint or bandages, your fingers maybe bluish in color, tingly or cold;
2: with hand held hanging down most of the time ; bandages, the circulation in fingers is not great;
3: if you are not exercising your fingers or are or have been  a smoker, then fingers do feel cold.
4: some people have cold fingers for no specific reason, with nothing to do with surgery.

Hormones?: There are many  possibilities, the most common is being a female. If you smoke or drink a ton of caffeine, that could also do it. Anxiety can also cause cold fingers and toes. There is disorder called raynauds where the toes and fingers can get cold, get  whitish the bluish and finally red- uncommon.

Build up of placque impairs flow. Psychological and neural factors (the parasympathetic) are crucial to erection; sympathetic to ejaculation. Many surgical and XRT pelvic treatments add to impairments.

Numb/light sensitive: With numbness and light sensitive would f/u/w /ER today.  Need to check for optic nerve swelling/ retinitis uveitis/ iritis , autoimmune process  or MS and may need MRI,  or may be lyme,   F/u w/ ER today

Doesnt sound like it: Doesnt sound like it but it can  be par to f the presentation or differential.  A nerve study/emg may be helpful unless its an obvious case of not being so.
