Not recommended: Colds are almost always caused by viruses.  They are self limited and do not respond to antibacterial antibiotics which should never be used.  Bronchitis is likewise usually a viral infection and should not be treated with antibiotics unless severe or prolonged. If bronchitis needed antibiotic treatment Clindamycin would not be a good choice. Ceftin, (cefuroxime) vantin, zithromax or Augmentin would be better.

Yes: Orlistat works by inhibiting the secretion of the gastric and pancreatic enzymes that help you to absorb fat. This shouldn't affect your ability to absorb clindamycin. There is no interaction between the two drugs.  Make sure you doctor knows that you're taking both.

Varies among people: With Clindamycin or any antibiotic, one can get tummy upset, looser stools, even watery diarrhea. Usually the symptoms go away when the antibiotics are stopped, but if one gets an overgrowth of clostridium difficile bacteria, he can end up with diarrhea until a special antibiotic is used. Allergic rashes can last a few days, but can be much longer in a few unlucky people. A doctor can evaluate.
