Carpal tunnel: It certainly could be carpal tunnel syndrome, a pinched nerve in your wrist which makes your fingers go numb. See a hand surgeon for an examination and treatment.

Parathesias: At night we can have ulnar compression that results in hands getting numb. May be related to cervical spine disease ,or thoracic outlet syndrome  Would also check for carpal tunnel syndrome, especially if you work a lot with computers.  Splints at night , motrin ( if not allergic ) may help. rarely could be MS(usually not both sides). f/u/ w/ doc

been jumped by gang 15 people could not fist fight me so was hit in the head with stick like object and then they ran fell asleep in woods for two wh ole days  after became very homocidal and know violent fantacy dominates my mind could i have brain damag

Need Evaluation: It is difficult  to know for sure if there is a damage or the extent of the damage. At this point, you need to get evaluated asap -- either ct scan or mri. You might want to go to the nearest emergency room, where ct scan or MRI could be done. It sounds like there is a change in you following the fight and it needs to be addressed. Good luck!

Most likely normal: Fisting is a normal behavior is infants.  This should become less common as they grow and develop.  By 6 months they should be reaching and grabbing and exchanging between the two hands.  Fine motor development is well defined and should be reviewed by your pediatrician.  If there are problems, he may suggest further evaluations.

Yes: The size of a hernia varies by the location of the hernia (groin, belly button, etc) and the size of the patient.  However, regardless of these variables, a fist-sized hernia is large and should be repaired sooner rather than later.
