Myelopathy?: While spinal surgery can help relieve the pressure on your spinal cord, it takes time and rehab to gain what you have lost back.  You may also have some loss of proprioception which could be causing balance issues.  You should get evaluated by a physical therapist.

If you are concerned that you may have been exposed, or if you have itching, discharge, or trouble with urination, you should see your doctor for a pelvic exam and testing for chlamydia and other std's.  Chlamydia can cause pid and infertility and if you have any concerns about it, you should be screened.

Clamydia: Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease spread during intercourse and oral sex.

Unfortunately, in females the infection may not be recognized.  Untreated, it is a potential cause of female infertility..

Several: Chlamydia in some people is asymptomatic.  It can cause UTI symptoms, pelvic pain, and vaginal discharge.  If you are sexually active and not using condoms, please consider using them.  The only way to know for sure though is get tested at your doctors office.  Most medcheck, family docs, ob/gyns, and health care clinics and planned parenthood can confirm your diagnosis.  Don't delay.

We want to test all women in their 20's for chlamydia, because in the beginning a woman may also have no symptoms, but if left untreated, the infection can cause infertility.
