Probably eczema: Your baby is likely to be having eczema as it recurs often and is not scaly The eczema may present as rash of any shape or size and anywhere on the body .Unlikely to be ringworm at this age .as baby"s contact is limited .Watch for any change in rash or it persists ,if so consult your doctor .

Dry air, eczema: Many children are prone to rashes when the skin gets very dry. It may be a common rash called "eczema". Try to increase the moisture to your baby's skin by using unscented, hypoallergenic moisturizers. Eucerin calming cream, cetaphil restoraderm, aquafor, and baby aveeno (oatmeal) lotion are some options. Sometimes a cool mist humidifier is also helpful by increasing moisture into the air as well.

See a dermatologist: You are using a potent steroid- beta methasone- on your face. We prefer other meds for the face. You may regret prolonged or repeated use on your face. Best result with a skin specialist.

Need to see the lesion and associated symptoms to really make diagnosis or atleast a working diagnosis

Have you been treated for it? If so, did it work. Not work, or come back? There are antifungal medications that are creams or oral medications to help. If this doesn't work, you may need to see a dermatologist (skin doctor).
