i have had off and on excessive belching for 6 months now. it all started after antibiotic treatment. my md doesn't seem concerned. how do i stop it?

Burping issues: Involuntary belching after a meal is normal, caused by release of swallowed gas after distension of the stomach with food. Magenblase syndrome is postprandial epigastric fullness &amp; bloating, relieved by belching. Aerophagia (accumulation of gas due to air swallowing) is common with anxiety, hypersalivation from gum chewing, smoking, drinking, oral irritation. In some, belching can become habitual.

Treatment: This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination &amp; other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes.

The : The most recent peer-reviewed fda approved treatment for glaucoma is the minimally invasive surgery canaloplasty.  Essentially, this surgery is like angioplasty for the eye as it uses a catheter to dilate the natural drainage system.  Three year results have recently been published and are objectively impressive when compare to other glaucoma treatments.

i have a belch reflux disorder. i cant burp, i have pain and bloating every time i eat unless i gag myself. do you know of any treatments?

Gastroenterologist: Don't force yourself to burp as this only causes more gas buildup. Drinking hot(not too hot) water breaks down gas and enables you to pass it rectally. Eating several smaller meals daily is better than large meals.Avoid oily foods.Taking simethicone after meals helps prevent gas buildup. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate and treat you if symptoms persist.

It sounds like: the C-Pap is pushing air down your esophagus or it's causing air swallowing to occur.You may need to turn down to pressure.Certianly ,talk to your prescribing doctor about this .

i was diagnosed with h plyori via blood test. started 2week treatment yesyerday. i have bad nausea and burping in morning. how long till better?

Quite a while: Helicobacter pylori treatment takes time, probably at least a week until symptoms significantly improve. Hang in there to complete treatment even if it takes the entire two weeks. Check back with your doctor if still concerned about it.

i finished treatment for h plyori 1week ago. i still have nausea, no appetite, indigestion and burping. on 40mg of nexiun, how long till l recover?

Rx side effects: These are not unusual side effects of proton pump inhibitors.  How were you diagnosed with H. pylori?  stool antigen or EGD in presence of an ulcer.  The nexium is part of the therapy (approx. 14 days) for H. pylori.  It would be reasonable to take yourself off of it for a few days or take a 1/2 dose.  Contact your doctor re: time course necessary vs. optional.  Longer tx typically used if ulcer.

Burping: If that abdominal pain has completely resolved your excessive belching may be caused by excessive gas or inability of the gas to move down the gastrointestinal tract. Excessive belching is caused by trying to make yourself belch which causes too much air swallowing leading to more gas buildup. Drinking hot(not too hot) water breaks down gas. Taking simethicone prevents gas buildup. See MD as neede

Eustac. tube: This is probably just the eustac tube equalizing the pressure.
It is similar to the process you use to ease the pressure when flying.

Unless you have pain, or consistent problems, this should disappear.
