Meibomian cyst...: Meibomian cysts/ Chalazion are tiny blocked oil glands of the eyelids. Usually onthe upper eyelids. They are usually benign. Diet: 'Bad' cholesterol (LDL, VLDL &amp; Triglycerides) can often be managed by tight diet control.  Limit starches and fats in your diet.  They may require medications to achieve safe levels. Eyelid spots: There are many small skin lesions that can be seen on eyelids: milia (tiny cysts), skin tags, xanthelasma (cholesterol deposits), syringoma (benign growths of sweat glands). In kids we often see molluscum, a skin viral infection on eyelids.  Xanthelasma are usually larger than the others and yellowish and irregularly shaped.  Syringoma are small flesh or tan papules on lower eyelids.
