Product of greens: Chlorophyll is what gives plants the green pigment. As for health benefits I don't see any harm in taking it up as green leafy vegetables are high in minerals and nutrients. As for helping metabolism - it helps maintain plant metabolism as it is essential for phtosynthesis. Not sure it has much effects on humans,.

One should ask his primary care doctor for details.

It has many purported health properties including rebuilding and replenishing red blood cells, being anti-carcinogenic, an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. I could find nothing about it being dangerous for kidney patients; it may prevent kidney stones. As with any supplement, also discuss with your doctor.
