Chlamydia Treatment: It all depends on the antibiotic used for treatment.  Usually one is not contagious forty-eight hours after finishing the treatment.

Used a condom?: If you had sex and a condom was correctly used from "start" to "finish" without tears, slipping, etc., there is little risk of transmitting Chlamydia.

No: Probably not. The germ has to incubate and proliferate before it shows symptoms. Usually about a week.

Chlamydia: If Chlamydia trachomatis is again detected on repeat testing, it should be treated with azithromycin as long as there is no contraindication to doing so.

Persistence or recurrence of symptoms should not be attributed to Chlamydia trachomatis drug resistance; drug resistance to azithromycin or doxycycline has not been demonstrated to date.

Sure: Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted infection. Unless a couple is monogamous (no current partners outside the couple) and are sure they both do not carry chlamydia germs, then a person should always worry that others may have it. Sexually active persons can get screened by a urine test (looks for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonas) as part of their annual check-up even if having no symptoms.

If you are one 1 day: Or 7 day  treatment - you can have sex on day #8. If you are on 10 day treatment would wait until day #11.

7-10 days : 7-10 days after is reasonable. Make sure you are tested for other stds as well. If you know you were exposed to a specific disease many doctors will go ahead and treat you.

Too soon : You probably wouldn't test positive that soon. If one of you has it, though, you both need to be treated. False positive tests are rare, but false negatives are possible.

Not necessarily.: It doesn't necessarily mean they have it, but they are at risk for it.  I would recommend they get tested.
