Almost all genital chlamydial infections clear up within a year, even without treatment. Have you had a lab test to diagnose chlamydia? Or only symptoms? Nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) can result from oral sex, but not caused by chlamydia.

Need treatment: Ideally sex partners of persons with chlamydial infection within the last 60 days should be examined, tested for stds, treated and counseled on prevention. Even if they do not have symptoms they need to be treated. Avoid sex for 7 days after the start of treatment.
