i am having chest pain, and my voice has been hoarse yes i was diagnosed with reflux 2 and half years ago and i didn't take care of it but i haven't been having heart burn just hoarse voice and chest pain and swollen lymph nodes what could it be?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

i have three swollen lymph nodes on my left inner thigh. they have been there  april of 2011. i have chest pain and  get  sick about 4 times a month?

Get a check up !: Do you have fever, sweats , weight loss, itching?  Other symptoms or history? You need a good exam, lab tests, chest x-ray and possibly other tests . Soon.

hi i've been having chest pains. had a ct scan done and they found i had two swollen lymph nodes.  i have no other symptoms becides the chest pain.?

Quite a few causes: Chestwall itself, esophagus/stomache, lungs, heart, pancreas, and even liver problems can cause chest pain. In the young, more likely chestwall itself or reflux is causing pain. As we get older heart disease becomes more common cause of concern. Since u gave only limitted info, it is diiffult to tell what you have. Please repost a more specific question or consult your doc. See below: Acute bronchitis or pneumonia are the 2 possible diagnoses that come immediately to mind.  Would need a lot more information for a more educated guess. Please don't smoke (even a little).

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you and your symptoms warrant evaluation by a physician.  There are non cancer causes of persistent lymph node enlargement, however, it would be prudent that you see a doctor.

No way to know: Go see your family doctor. He may put you on antibiotics. You  need some blood work and scans done,  and if no better a lymph node bx may be required.

It depends on size: Unless these nodes are large(more than 2cm) you do not need to worry. But many diseases affect lymph nodes. Some of the considerations include infections(tb, sarcoid, fungal infections), lymph gland cancers like lymphomas or cancer spread from the lungs or elsewhere in the body. But i would not worry unless they are large enough as the radiologists often over read them anytime they are &gt;0.5cm.

Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad  like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts.  They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react.  They shrink when all is well.
