Bronchoscopy: Ask for a bronchoscopy.  A flexible camera that looks at the inside of your lungs and upper airway.  Can be done by a pulmonologist or thoracic surgeon.

See a lung doc: This is a complicated question that requires a thorough review of your medical history, where you've lived, and what exposures you've had. You're prior cat scans would then need to be reviewed in order to come up with an intelligent diagnostic plan.  See your family doc or a pulmonologist.

in ct  i have a left hilar lymph node calcified not a smoker have chest pains and blood in sputum.  no tb can this be cancer? is this common?

Possibly: although most calcified Tyler lymph nodes are caused by benign conditions such as infections ( for example histoplasmosis, tuberculosis) or diseases such as sarcoidosis, silicosis, they occasionally can be caused by cancer. It should definitely be fully evaluated by a pulmonary specialist.

got flu shot 3 days ago & have been sick since; temp.101, headache, chest pain, congestion, tightness & now started coughing & expelling some yellow sputum. is this normal? should i be worried? i feel absolutely awful.

Yes and no: There is no active virus in the vaccine but in some people it "stimulates" a memory and they can develop serious flu like symptoms.   On occasion people with allergies to egg protein etc can have a reaction but it sounds to me like the former.  Another possibility is a coincidental viral infection but in my experience it is the  "memory"  explanation that often explains best this phenomenon.

my partner has been diagnosed with a proteus growth in her sputum her gp is not bothered but she has chest pain shortness of breath and a urine infect?

If it's treated...: If your partner has a urinary tract infection with proteus as well, and is being treated with an antibiotic, this may be treating Proteus in the sputum as well. Her symptoms may be consistent with pneumonia, but this can be managed with antibiotics. Asking the GP if the infection is being treated is the best plan to move forward.

Both: A cold is an upper respiratory infection. Acute bronchitis is also an upper respiratory infection. I would say you have both: acute bronchitis caused by a cold. The risk is that you may have a LOWER respiratory infection (i.e. pneumonia) - the fever is the worrisome sign. You need to be seen by your doctor ASAP. Sometimes antibiotics really are needed!

Environmental??: There are environmental exposures that can lead to black stained sputum. Have you had a sputum culture done? A sputum culture will identify any bacteria present as well as what antibiotics would best treat it. Seeing an allergist might also be helpful to identify any environmental exposures and how to avoid them, if possible. Good luck!

Possibly TB: Calcified nodes in chest indicate old TB, but blood in sputum is indicative of active disease. The doctor needs to examine you and take a complete history , review available XRays, CT and lab results for a proper diagnosis and recommend a regimen of treatment that should take care of this. Your family members need to be tested and treated as needed. Congestive Heart failure needs to be ruled out.

Blood donation: You have to check with your doctor if its ok for you to donate blood. If you are in good health and not anemic, you likely are ok to donate blood.

See your doctor: Often persistent CP is not related to the heart.  Other possible causes include chest wall/lung conditions, stomach/gi conditions, or musculoskeletal causes.  Stress/anxiety can also cause.  Sounds like they ruled you out for an acute heart attack but if you continue w pain during exertion, shortness of breath you might need additional outpatient cardiac workup (stress testing, etc).
