Maybe: Cmt is a spectrum of disorders that generally manifest as peripheral motor & sensory nerve problems. While some types can affect breathing, they usually manifest at a young age. In adults CMT usually affects leg & arm nerves/muscles more & is unlikely to cause sweating. Sweating may be a side effect of a medication. I would get your breathing checked out to make sure it's not something else.

Hereditary condition: Charcot marie tooth disease is a hereditary condition that effect the nerves going to the feet, ankles, and legs.  The muscles may be effected.  One with this disease may have difficulty walking, may trip more.And have an unsteady gait.

Mostly Symptomatic: Its a hereditary motor sensory neuropathy. Unfortunately, there is no cure for CMT disease. There are at least 5 different types. How the kid does clinically depends also on its type. Treating pain with medications, orthopedic braces, occupational and physical therapy etc are the main stay of treatment. I assume that the diagnosis is already made, with the help of a geneticist, neurologist etc.
