: condom will not likely cause a yeast infection, what you’re experiencing might be an allergic reaction to the condom or to the lubricant or spermicidal jell they are packaged in.

Yeast? Allergy?: Hard to tell from this info whether you have yeast infection, allergy/irritation from latex, or from lubricant, or all three. Yeast can be effectively treated and/or prevented even if sensitive to latex, e.g. oral fluconazole once a week. If still symptoms, try polyurethane condoms instead of latex, and try different lubricants, maybe without spermicide.

Secondary infection with yeast or bacteria is common. Treatment is with vytone cream 1% which is prescrtion.

Not yeast infection: Genital yeast infections are fairly common in women but rare in men.  They do not typically spread from women to men like herpes or other sexually transmitted infections.  When men do have yeast infections, it occurs on the penis and is due to poor hygiene.

If it's more in the groin creases, it could be intertrigo, which occurs when skin in the body creases is occluded from exposure to air.

OTC measures: Vaginal yeast infection?  First are you sure that's what it is?  If you've had them before and are quite sure, try the otc topical creams like gyne-lotrimin, Monistat and such.  Avoid the one-day treatments as they they are so strong they can cause ulceration of the vaginal mucosa.  If your symptoms do not resolve within five days, see your doc for a sure diagnosis.
