Definitely: Some glands will resolve when infection clears up.Others stay longer for months and years. Remember, children get colds several times a year and on top of it get ear infection, throat infection etc , thus lymph nodes stay swollen/enlarged much longer.

Yes: I routinely detect them on regular physical exams.Most will be less than a cm in size and move some. If there is any nearby bug bites, skin irritation, or recent throat infection; i will find them a bit larger.

Time for consult: If you have been having unprotected sex with your partner for more than a year & not conceived, a workup at a fertility center may be the best way to find answers. Both you & your partner will need to be evaluated. Your regular OB can sometimes start the process but the center can study you both & provide information on assisted pregnancy if needed.

Prolapse: You should have a gyn checkup. It sounds like uterine prolapse and other problems should be considered too. It may not be your cervix but a growth or other abnormality.  Sometimes a mass or cyst can push your uterus lower into the vaginal canal.

Overall after balancing the pros and cons, it is probably not worthwhile. Nonetheless, ask your ob-gyn doc.

Rare: It is possible but rare for the IUD to come out. If you are concerned, have your GYN examine you and make sure that everything is ok.
