If active lesions: testing for herpes nucleic acids, if no lesion the IGG will show historical infections, by showing antibodies to the virus. The IGG test cannot tell the time of the initial infection.

Maybe: Herpes is a virus transmitted by contact.  Oral sex could cause genital herpes to spread to the mouth or from the mouth to the genitals.  This is not the only way to get oral herpes however...

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.  A blood test can determine if are infected with HSV 1 and/or HSV 2.  It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

: Little or no chance. Herpes is not transmitted by hand contact or fingering. Don't worry about it.

Need more oxygen: Oxygen saturation should be higher you need higher flow and or other treatment to address low oxygen. Could be a lung/ heart problem or combination. Low oxygen is not good for the body most organs get affected and do not function properly. Talk to you doctor.

Recurrent blisters: Happen with herpes in most cases, if no active lesions it is more difficult to say.   Blood tests can show new or previous exposure.
HSV Type 1 lesions are usually less severe, (cold sores), very common. HSV Type 2 lesions are more severe and numerous, particularly with first outbreak.  Anti viral medication can help decrease recurrences.

: Herpes virus can be shedded even without eruptions being present. It is spread by skin to skin contact and if live virus was on the straw the virus can be transmitted. However I don't think It's a very likely occurrence.

About herpes: If a patient sees no lesions, it is hard to guess whether or not any symptoms are from herpes. One's doctor can help by doing blood tests for herpes antibodies. If symptoms are happening often, perhaps a trial of preventive medication can be done if the blood antibodies are positive for herpes. The partner's antibodies should be checked too, because one typically only catches herpes from a person.
