Trauma growth: By far most hemangioms do not cause any issues at all some are large and like any big complex of blood vessels a traumatic injury like car accident boxing or even skate board fall can break it open or rupture.... Also very rarely they will continue to grow and eventually rupture.

Probably not: Asymptomatic hemangiomas do not require surgery.  Only if they begin to cause pain, or if they grow large enough to compress other organs are they usually removed.  Also if cancer cannot be ruled out they should be treated.

Observe if no pain: These are the most common benign growth in the liver . They are generally left alone unless they are causing symptoms( usually pain) and/or larger than 5 cm. Some recommendations are to watch them even at 5 cm if they are causing no symptoms. Removing them surgically is often reserved for serious pain, compression of adjacent organs or uncertain diagnosis.

Seem unrelated: Your symptoms are probably not due to the hemangioma. It would be prudent to discuss it with your doctor as it is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Trauma: I would think that trauma, such as the dashboard of a car or an airbag hitting your chest where the hemangioma is would cause it to burst.

Common and benign: Hepatic hemangiomas are common benign liver masses that have a characteristic appearance on ultrasound, ct scan, and mri.  Occasionally, they may have an atypical appearance in which case we may recommend additional imaging, follow up, or biopsy.

Yes it can: Hemangiomas in the liver are a fairly common finding on the ct scans. They can mimic a cancer. So it takes some effort for the radiologist to make a distinction, but it can be separated by the team of oncologist and radiologist working together and consulting each other.

Leave it alone?: 1% of folks have a benign hemangioma in the liver. The vast majority of hepatic hemangiomas require no treatment whatever. If you have been offered treatment, ask why. Their malignant counterpart, the one lesion i know for which they could be mistaken, is very rare and i've not heard of anyone surviving it.

Yes: A metastatic lesion to  the liver can look like a hemangioma.  This is easily resolved with a vascular scan, an arteriogram or a PET which can rule in or out the question of malignancy is this is a major concern to the radiologist.
