i used to have barely any acne, but i started a bad habit of picking at my skin. this has caused a lot more acne than ever, in places where ive never had it. is it possible for it to return to normal if i stop, or have i partially ruined my skin?

Possible improvement: It is possible your skin can return to normal if you strictly stop picking and popping, but it is also possible that things have progressed to the point that you will need dermatologic intervention to get back to where you were. You have spread bacteria all over your face and irritated many glands, so may take a dermatologist to improve things. Stop picking, if not better in 1-2 months, see derm.

: Acne can be embarrassing and troublesome, but does not cause headaches.  Some medications to treat acne could have headache adverse effects.  Contact your doctor and evaluate potential triggers for headaches.

No: Lifting should not have a direct affect on your skin. See your primary doctor or a dermatologist about the acne.

It&#x27;s just you: People with severe acne have no lifestyle, hygiene or diet differences from their age-and-sex-matched peers. If you have bad acne, and topical benzoyl peroxide has not cleared you in two weeks, get with your physician and stop listening to what anybody else tells you is the problem.

i'm 41 with acne. it's mostly hormonal, but i noticed it gets really bad when i have a lot of milk in my diet. can milk cause breakouts?

Try limiting : More than five servings of dairy (milk, cheese, ice cream, yogurt, etc.) may increase acne breakouts in some women. Try to control your dairy intake for a few weeks and see if the acne improves.

how do u get rid of the red blemishes caused by the acne/pimples?  (i still suffer from pimples also but not as bad as the blemishes)

Topical acne medicin: If you are continuing to use your topical acne medications the redness should slowly fade with time. You can conceal them with a light foundation until they do.

No: I can not think of any reason that tea with or without milk can cause acne problems. Acne is usually the result of hormonal changes, especially during adolescence, but even into adulthood.

ive been taking acyclovir for hsv1 for 9 months in these 9 months i have had bad acne could this be the cause? is it ok to stop taking it?

Not a side effect: Acne, or worsening acne has not been reported as a side effect of acyclovir. Acne: Not taking care of your self is never healthy but acne is from hormones, bacteria and an impaired ability to exfoliate.  Sun won't help you need to see your doctor for this or start with over the counter acne treatment

can i get demodex in my pubic  area because what's in my hair is in my pubic area, my eyelashes, and my nasel hair, its causeing acne on my body /bad sikn?

Tea Tree Oil: Consider a course of treatment with tea tree oil.  It can be very powerful, so make sure you dilute it, specially around the eyes.  My patients tell me that a single drop in a small cup of water is all they can tolerate!

i recommend you also see an ophthalmologist to help you in the proper course of treatment for the eyes.
