fundoplication in 1986, having some issues lately, told by specialist my cardiac sphincter is not opening like it should, but not to worry about it ?

Indigestion?: They likely meant esophageal sphincter, not cardiac. I am not sure what issues you are having, if it's indigestion then I recommend modifying your diet to less acidic foods, decreasing the amount of food you consume, adding in some antacids and consuming foods which will move through your intestines faster rather than binding foods such as meats and starches.

Consult GI.: You may wan't to consult GI specialist  as you may have either a motility disorder or a mechanical obstruction of the esophagus !

i swallowed a hair thin salmon bone on sept 11th. it ended up laying across the top of my cardiac sphincter, my body has encapsulated the bone to the top of the muscle. gi doctor didn't photo area, what type of doctor do i need? please help?

: If you do not have any symptoms you may leave it alone. Body can absorb the calcium as well as other components of the "bone". It may do more harm in investigating it than the "hair" could.

No, but can be part: Your sphincter can be contracted during kegel exercises, but kegel exercises also include contracting gluteal (buttock) muscles plus thrusting the pelvis forwards.

what will happen to me if i have sphincter of oddi dysfunction,  will i have to have surgery?

Possibly: Sphincter of oddi dysfunction is a difficult to diagnose condition usually made by a gastroenterologist.  Generally it is caused by spasms or stenosis of your gallbladder sphincter and may be treated with antispasomodic medications.  Sometimes a diet low in fat/cholesterol helps.  Minimally invasive surgery sometimes cures this condition.  Speak with your doctor.

Yes: An eye md evaluation can best elucidate the nature of the injury and wether the risk for repair is outweighed by the benefits. There may also be other concurrent problems with your eye from the initial injury that need to be considered. A torn  iris sphincter may be sutured.

Yes: The anal sphincter muscle can weaken as one ages.
