i recently had blood work done. it showed that my sodium,  potassium,  chloride,  alt, & ast were all high. what does this mean & what could it be?

had blood work done. my creatinine was 0.68 gfr >60 bun/creat ratio 37.9 urea nitrogen 19  sodium 139 potassium 5.3 chloride 106. is this all normal.

See below: The labs appear normal. The pottassium level is slightly on the higher side but in the normal range.The GFR is the better way to judge kidney function rather than creatinine.

Not really: potassium is slightly elevated, but if sampla was drawn as heel stick the a little hemolysis is expected and this would elevate the result. alt is also slightly high, but these medications are known to do that.

can amoxicillin affect tegretol blood work?

It should not: If taking Amoxicillin at appropriate dosages, it should not affect tegretol levels. Taking too much penicillin based medication however, is known to cause seizures.

fasting blood work 4 months ago. tbili 1.5, dbili 0.2, alkphos 44, ast 24, alt 20. now a dull ache under right ribs. odds it is liver? gallbladder?

Unlikely: I wouldn't be surprised if you had Gilbert's non-disease. Otherwise these labs are not suspicious for any liver problem. If this was biliary colic, you may have gallbladder disease, or a sore muscle or cartilage, or any of a number of other things. If it lasts over 2 weeks, get seen.

fasting blood work. total bilirubin 1.5, direct bili 0.2, alk phos 44, ast 24, alt 20, albumin 4.4, tot protein 6.6. is high total bili concerning?

Not unless its inc--: reasing. Every Lab has its own Reference range, so checking with your PCP would be the best as None of us would have a clue to the Reference your lab uses.
Overall your numbers are not terribly high, except the Alk phos, I think.
Best check with your PCP and maybe  repeat the tests after 4-6 weeks time.

i was put on the bp medicine losartan. no blood work was done to check potassium levels or checked for dehydration. should i be concerned? i saw online that electrolytes should be checked/balanced first due to this med can cause high potassium lvls?

: It is difficult to determine your risk for electrolyte derangement without knowing the rest of your medical history, or other medications that you are taking. Contact your doc next week, or book a tele-health visit to discuss with a doc who can review your history and order labs if necessary.

causes for heart beating forcefully & twitching? bad anxiety. blood work previously showed potassium level 6, but was lab error. sodium was high, but went down after drinking a lot of water. ended up being all normal. so anxious and panicky?

: In all likely hood you have a cardiac anxiety problem.  Your body is taking to you. Listen and take good notes and share with your Drs.  u and ur team will figure it out. May want to consider TM.org
