Try HealthTap's private consultations, where doctors can see and treat patients via smartphone, tablet, or laptop. In the US certain medications (not all) can be prescribed and lab tests can be ordered. Just start over, but select "talk to doctor" instead of "post a question."

Maybe Strep throat: These symptoms sound like possible strep throat. You need to have a throat swab done. There is a rapid test to determine if you are infected. The usual treatment is an oral course or injection of penicillin. It is important to treat strep throat because long-term complications, like rheumatic heart disease, may arise if you do not receive treatment.

Psych: Do you mean talking to yourself?  If so this is fine and is not a sign of anything serious. I spoke out sometimes as well if that makes you feel better.

Yes: The normal way to write blood pressure is to put the big number first, so 176/108.

First thing is to sit, wait for at least 5 minutes, and recheck the blood pressure.

If top number is above 135 or bottom number above 90, this should be checked out.

If you have headaches or other symptoms in association with elevated blood pressure, prompt medical evaluation is required.
