Cymbalta (duloxetine) withdrawal : Or Cymbalta (duloxetine) discontinuation syndrome. There are various Cymbalta (duloxetine) withdrawal symptoms. Insomnia is only one of the many.

Take sertraline am: Sertraline (zoloft) can cause difficulty with sleep, especially if taken at night. This goes away in time for some patients but not for others. Taking it in the morning may reduce this side effect.

Zoloft (sertraline): Zoloft (sertraline) can be very effective for treating anxiety. Insomnia can occur occassionally as a side effect. When that happens, i usually recommend that it be taken in the morning. It can cause weight loss or gain (but weight gain is more common).

Zoloft (sertraline): Might want to talk to your prescribing doctor about taking zoloft (sertraline) early in the day. It does work well for anxiety if given time.

No: In my practice, with my patients, I have not seen a patient with fatigue caused by either zoloft (sertraline) or buspirone, either along or together.
If you are taking them for depression and anxiety, fatigue may be caused from either underlying condition.
Please consult with your treating physician.

i have been on toprol (metoprolol) for bp and zoloft for depression for about 15 years. in the last year i an experiencing extremem fatibue. one of my dr's say they cause fatigue and switched me to priivid but it doesn't work. any suggestions?

Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride): Fairly new antidepressant made by forest labs, same company that made Celexa & lexapro. I note similar results on low dose of viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride). Talk to your doctor about dose or switch, due to lack of response, assuming you tried viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) long enough.

See a doctor: You should see an eye doctor to have this evaluated if you already haven't.  Zoloft (sertraline) could worsen an existing condition with the pupil size but you need to make sure that this is benign before we assume so.

Adverse reaction: Would have some potential concern that your combination of Paxil (paroxetine) and Zoloft is causing low grade Seratonin syndrome.  It would behoove you to discuss this in great detail with your doctor, as changing the therapy may make a lot of sense.

It should: Zoloft (sertraline) can cause either insomnia or sedation. Effects are typically transient. Also, various anxiety and depressive conditions cause insomnia. Zoloft (sertraline) and other antidepressants are effective treatments for these conditions. As such, they may alleviate insomnia related to these conditions. Thus, if zoloft (sertraline) is causing persistent insomnia, there are numerous available alternative antidepressants.
