of scrotum.
If one anti-fungal medication doesn't work another may.
Dip the scrotum in a basin of warm water for 5 minutes twice a day.In the water add  2  teaspoons of baking powder.

Pruritus Scroti: The scrotum almost never develops fungal infection or jock itch.  But it very often develops lichen siimplex, which is thickened, itchy skin that comes from rubbing or scratching.  

Using topical steroids to break an itch-scratch-itch cycle is usually curative.

Can take longer: A fungal infection using topicals can take up to 4 weeks.  You could have a superimposed bacterial infection.  If fungal oral Diflucan (fluconazole) at 200mg every other day for 5 doses mat hasten recovery but you may need abx and evaluation.  A good gp should be able to help.

:  No, this is not the proper way to use these medication’s. Your best bet is to wash yourself thoroughly after sex, and keep your private areas dry afterwards. If a fungal infection did occur, then it could be treated. Good luck.

: Fungal infection thru 'woman's juices' is seldom acquired  on your skin. You will be wasting a lot of  money and medicine doing that. Easier to wear a condom and  clean yourself later

i used otc clotrimazole cream on my penis and scrotum for 3 weeks. (i had itchy skin) now i have super dry, wrinkly skin. mild skin peeling. should i visit a doctor? or let the skin heal naturally?

: If you keep it clean with a mild soap it should self heal in 2-3 weeks. Application of a mild .5% Hydrocortizone cream 1x/d may speed the process,

Itching: skin itches for many reasons including bacterial contamination , moisture, fungal infections, tight clothing, sweat,  contact dermatitis, etc.  Most genital areas itch when they get moist or hot.  It is normal to have itchy skin in this area.

Scrotal pain: Scrotal pains can be from many types of issues. This could be a testicular issue, a hernia or referred pain from nerve irritation somewhere in the abdomen. I would recommend seeing your primary care doctor who can do a physical exam and begin a work-up and treatment plan.

If swelling, or pain: Scrotum or testicle swelling or pain means a trip to the doctor or ER because a testicle's blood supply can be twisted off (torsion). When that happens, the testicle can die. Since one usually cannot tell for sure if his testicle is twisted, he needs an exam by a doctor. That said, if the swelling is only the scrotum skin, or due to a mass inside the scrotum, the doctor can help those issues too.
